The sports world is changing. In the last 30 years women have been given more and more opportunities to compete in sports collegiately and internationally. The 1999 Women’s World Cup of soccer brought more than 650,000 fans to stadiums across the United States during the tournament's 32 matches, with 40 million fans watching at home during the final. Is it worth it? Hear from over fifteen women from a variety of cultures and sports who have found victory beyond competition. When the game is over, win or lose, these women have found that their faith gives them the freedom to play with Passion and Power. Click here to replay the Intro. |
